BOOKS RECOMMENDATION BY BOANERGE

PRINCIPLES

BY RAY DALIO

Ray Dalio is a dear friend of mine and a total genius. His company, Bridgewater, is the biggest hedge fund in the world, with over $165 billion under management. He’s returned more money to investors than anybody in history! I always say, success leaves clues. When you figure out how someone else has achieved their goals, you can recreate their actions and produce your own outstanding results. In this book, Ray tells you how he figured it all out – and about all the principles that guided him toward success in his life, business and finances.

TRIBE OF MENTORS

BY TIM FERRIS

Tim is a brilliant thinker and someone who I respect immensely. He asked a series of targeted questions to some of the most brilliant people in the world and compiled their interviews into this book. What I love about “Tribe of Mentors” is that it distills key habits and beliefs of ultra-successful people and also dives into some of life’s larger questions, like what makes life meaningful. Highly recommended! No matter what point of your life you’re in, you’ll find this to be one of the best books right now to provide guidance for your unique journey.

A MIND AT HOME WITH ITSELF: HOW ASKING FOUR QUESTIONS CAN FREE YOUR MIND, OPEN YOUR HEART, AND TURN YOUR WORLD AROUND

BY BYRON KATIE

I find Byron Katie’s work really great. She specializes in a process called ‘The Work,’ which requires you to ask four questions that change your perception of your own thoughts and the world around you. It feels like her life’s work is bound between the pages of this book. It’s a beautiful how-to for anyone wanting freedom from The Mind.

AS A MAN THINKETH

BY JAMES ALLEN

I’ve read this book more than a dozen times and often give it as a gift because it’s concise, easy to read and yet extremely profound. It dives deep into the concept of understanding that your thoughts truly shape everything in your life that you feel and experience. As I often say, changing your focus can change your entire life.

THE TB12 METHOD: HOW TO ACHIEVE A LIFETIME OF SUSTAINED PEAK PERFORMANCE

BY TOM BRADY

I’ve always been obsessed with finding out what the best of the best do – that’s why I’ve worked with world-class athletes like Serena Williams and leading entrepreneurs like Richard Branson, extracting their strategies so that anyone can implement them. Tom does exactly that in his book. He shares his tried and true strategies that have enabled him to stay on top of his game and play at such a high level for so many years. The man is in peak physical shape and is still one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history at age 40. That’s pretty extraordinary.

MAN’S SEARCH FOR MEANING

BY VIKTOR FRANKL

The ability to find meaning in the most difficult times, even in times of injustice or extreme stress, is one of the most important skills in life. Man’s Search for Meaning provides compelling examples of humanity’s perseverance through trying situations. This is another book that I’ve read dozens of times. It taught me that if you change the meaning, you change everything. Meaning equals emotion, and emotion equals life.
